
LONDON : British Member of Parliament Muhammad Yasin, a leader of Pakistani origin, called on Honourable Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. The meeting underscored the shared commitment to further deepening bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom through enhanced parliamentary engagement and people-to-people contacts.
Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani appreciated the contributions of MP Muhammad Yasin and other members of the British Pakistani and Kashmiri community towards promoting understanding, harmony, and goodwill between the two countries. He emphasized that the Pakistani diaspora serves as a vital bridge, not only strengthening economic and social ties but also representing Pakistan’s positive image abroad.
During the discussion, both sides explored avenues to enhance institutional collaboration, parliamentary exchanges, and cooperation on global and regional issues of mutual concern. The Chairman highlighted the importance of continued dialogue and coordination to foster stronger democratic linkages.
