
SuperNova School celebrates record-breaking results at high achievers ceremony
Islamabad : Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, National Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Tourism and CEO of the Centaurus Group, commended SuperNova for its remarkable contributions to education in Pakistan. He emphasized that the institution has distinguished itself by raising the bar for academic excellence and innovation, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an evolving world.
He further noted that SuperNova’s efforts extend beyond classrooms, playing a vital role in uplifting society as a whole. SuperNova School proudly hosted its High Achievers Ceremony 2025 on Saturday, 20 September 2025, at the Centaurus Ballroom, Mövenpick Hotel Islamabad, celebrating an unprecedented year of academic excellence and holistic achievement.
The event honoured 900 outstanding students with a remarkable 1,150 medals and shields, recognising their exceptional performance in the June 2025 Cambridge examinations.
The ceremony was graced by eminent national figures:
Zohair Majeed, Director Faisal Town, commended the students and faculty for “a culture of excellence that speaks to Pakistan’s bright future.”
Each guest addressed the audience, congratulating students and parents while encouraging them to carry this spirit of excellence into their future endeavours.

Navid Sultan, Board Member of SuperNova School, highlighted the school’s phenomenal June 2025 Cambridge Examination results:

“These numbers are not just statistics,” Sultan said. “They are proof of what happens when talent meets opportunity, when determination is guided by inspired teaching.”
Global Recognition and Growth
Sultan reflected on SuperNova’s phenomenal rise since its founding in 2013:
- Second largest Cambridge International School in North Pakistan (out of 300 schools)
- Eighth largest in Pakistan (out of 900 schools)
- Ranked among the Top 20 Cambridge schools worldwide, a network of over 10,000 schools across 160 countries.
He noted that “SuperNova is now the most renowned school for academic excellence—a fact reflected in the sheer number of medals and shields awarded today and in 85 Cambridge distinctions over the past nine years, including 13 Top in World, 20 Top in Pakistan, 28 Top in North Pakistan 23 Best Across awards, 1 High Achievement Award.”
While celebrating academic success, the press release also highlighted SuperNova’s vibrant extra-curricular achievements:
- 700 medals at the World Scholars Cup Islamabad Round, with nine students advancing to the global round in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and qualifying for the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
- International accolades such as Ammara Khan’s victory at the Hippo English Contest in Rome and Hamna Waqas’s first place (Benjamin Level) in the KSF Grand Finale, winning a cash prize of Rs. 200,000.
