Islamabad : The Simly Dam Reservior has attained its Maximum Conservation Level, and it is presently at 2315.45 ft.
Accordingly, it has been decided to open one gate of its main spillway by 2ft at 1300hrs today.
The outflow rate will be around 1700 cusecs, which is only about 4% of its maximum discharge capacity.
All concerned are requested for making necessary arrangements.
Telephonic intimation is also being given to the downstream areas as per previous practice besides warning through sirens.
