Stockholm : ๐๐๐ง๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ช๐ช ๐๐ข๐๐๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ข, Chairman of Senateโs Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs undertook a day long visit to Stockholm.
During his brief stay, Senator visited the Chancery and held community interaction. ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ briefed the visiting dignitary about the bilateral ties with Sweden. Senator Siddiqui was provided an overview of the services rendered and facilitations extended to the overseas Pakistanis in Sweden and Finland by the Pakistan Embassy.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui interacted with notables on Pakistani diaspora during a dinner hosted by the Ambassador at Pakistan House. In his interaction, Senator Irfan Siddiqui urged the community members to repose their faith in the leadership of Pakistan which was committed to the welfare of its people.
Senator assured that Pakistan, post Marka e Haqq, is a different country โ which commands renewed respect among comity of nations. Paying rich tribute to the significant role played by the overseas Pakistanis, Senator Siddiqui suggested ways and means whereby community could play its role in further strengthening Pakistanโs economy and elevating national prestige in Sweden.
