Multan – The U23 National Men’s Football Team tryouts commenced on July 29 at the Divisional Sports Ground in Multan, drawing promising young talent from across the country. The two-day selection process aims to scout and assess players for the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.
Under the supervision of assistant coaches Muhammad Habib, Mehmood Khan, Gohar Zaman and goalkeeper coach Jaffar Khan, the trials have provided a platform for emerging players to showcase their abilities and compete for a spot on the national squad. The coaching staff has been closely evaluating performances, focusing on both technical skills and tactical understanding.
The final squad for the tournament will be announced in due course, following a thorough review of player performances during the tryouts.
