
China : The University of Sargodha (UoS) has signed a landmark agreement of mutual collaboration with Zaozhuang School of Technology, marking a major advancement in Pak-China educational and technological cooperation.
As part of the agreement, both institutions jointly inaugurated joint Lithium Battery Research Centre, a cutting-edge facility aimed at advancing research and innovation in energy storage technologies. This initiative represents a major milestone in the university’s efforts to expand applied research collaborations with Chinese partners.
The next phase of the agreement envisions the establishment of a joint Lithium Battery Manufacturing Unit in Pakistan, enhancing industrial-academic synergy and supporting local technological development.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas led the UoS delegation and was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asgher Bhatti, Director External Linkages, and Prof. Dr. Tahir Mumtaz Awan, Director of the Pakistan Institute of China Studies & Host Director, Confucius Institute at University of Sargodha. The leadership of both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to long-term collaboration in scientific research and vocational training.
