
Ottawa: : High Commissioner of Pakistan, Muhammad Saleem, held a meeting with Kaye Bass, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Christopher and Nevis.
Establishment of formal institutional mechanism for bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries and collaboration between training institutions for diplomats were identified as important pillars for strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic development, culture and sports domains. Both sides also highlighted cooperation at multilateral fora including the UN on matters of common concern like Climate Change. The meeting reaffirmed the shared interest of both sides to fostering closer ties and enhancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The High Commissioner expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements made by the Ministry for his Credentials ceremony.
