Beijing 19 May 2020(GNP): Chinese Consulate in Karachi- Libijang tweets about Pakistan’s support to China by saying that China never forgets the valuable support by Pakistan. His tweet was based on the briefing of Chines Foreign ministry’s spokesperson, Zhao Lijian. Recently, Pakistan’s Upper House of Parliament passed a resolution to appreciate the Chinese efforts to fight against COVID-19. The resolution was presented by Raja Muhammad Zafaulhaq- an opposition leader. Consulate Libijang praised the resolution passed by the Senate of Pakistan in a tweet, “We are together thick and thin always”. China’s support to Pakistan helped to combat COVID-19 by protecting our people and saving lives as well as sending medical teams and equipment at a time when these were badly needed, mentioned in the resolution.
Zhao said China praised the resolution. China and Pakistan helped and supported each other when the virus outbreaks and China will never forget that. When China was fighting with the pandemic, Pakistan poured its sources and helped them with medical supplies. In return, China also sends Pakistan tonnes of medical assistance and medical staff to trained and help the Pakistani doctors against this fight.
He further said that China highly appreciated Pakistan’s motives and just position on this issue. China ensured that they will possibly help the community who shares common objectives in the fight against COVID-19. He further added in his briefing, “China and Pakistan are true friends and good brothers sharing wheals and woes”.
