‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ released in Pakistan

The filming for the movie took twelve years, according to Jemima Khan, the producer and screenwriter for the film.

Islamabad, 4 March 2023 (GNP): On March 3, Pakistan saw the premiere of ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It?’ Jemima Goldsmith’s debut film.

The film features Shahzad Latif, Emma Thompson, Lily James, Sajal Aly, and Shabana Azmi. The central theme of the film is the culture of arranged marriage in South Asian families, and Jemima Khan has done a fantastic job of injecting humor into it.

According to Jemima Khan, the filming the movie was a struggle of twelve years. The plot of the movie follows a London-based documentary filmmaker Zoe Stevenson (Lily James) as she looks for her next assignment. She runs into her old friend Kaz Khan (Shazad Latif), who informs her that he has made the same decision as his parents and will find his partner through an assisted marriage. Addict to dating apps and unlucky in love, the concept fascinates Zoe, who chooses to make it the subject of her upcoming documentary.
