Munich, 21 February 2023 (GNP): According to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan has increased the number of terrorist attacks there.
During the Munich Security Conference, he discussed recent terrorist attacks in Peshawar and Karachi in an interview with a television channel.
The determination of Pakistan to fight terrorism on its soil was reaffirmed by the Foreign Minister.

Yet, he asserted that a long-term resolution to the issues in Afghanistan can lessen the risks posed by terrorists.
“یہ افسوس کی بات ہے کہ اتنی قربانیوں اور جدوجہد کے باوجود کچھ غلط پالیسیوں کی بدولت ہمیں ایک بار پھر دہشتگردی کا سامنا کرنا پڑ رہا ہے لیکن ہم نے پہلے بھی ٹی ٹی پی کو شکست دی تھی اور ایک بار پھر ہم انہیں شکست دیں گے۔”

The Foreign Minister added that the conflict in Ukraine and the nation’s floods last year were to blame for Pakistan’s challenging economic situation.
He claimed that Pakistan has the potential to develop into an emerging country and deal with its financial problems.
