Iran Offers Neighboring Countries Underutilized COVID-19 Testing Kits – GNP

7th April 2020 (GNP): According to the Embassy of Iran, the head of Pasteur Institute of Iran, Alireza Biglari has stated that WHO has approved kits and if used correctly can give 90% accuracy in results for COVID-19. He further asserted on the help needed by the neighboring countries during this time and stated that the health ministry is also ready to export them.
80,000 kits are being produced by five medical research facilities and 10,000 tests are being carried out across 90 labs in Iran to test its authenticity again according to Biglari.
The country Iran has been hit the hardest with more than 3,000 deaths and 47,593 cases according to the current government data. 67 million people have been tested for the COVID-19 (GNP)
