UK announces £4.39M aid for Pakistan to help It in combating the deadly virus
Islamabad, May 29, 2020 (GNP): The United Kingdom on Friday lauded Pakistan’s efforts in fighting the novel coronavirus and announced £4.39 million to help the country contain its spread.
British High commissioner in Pakistan in its video message shared this news and further said in Urdu that Pakistan played a leadership role and praise Pakistan’s role to combat the deadly virus.
Pakistan is currently fighting with the COVID-19 cases as the recent death toll is 1359 and the cases in the country reached to more than 60,000 with daily count rising with each passing day. Today there was the biggest jump in Covid-19 death toll as 76 more fatalities reported in the past 24 hours (GNP)
