Abu Dhabi , 13 February 2023 (GNP): People who want to work remotely from the UAE will now have more flexibility because they can submit their applications from wherever they are right now, according to a recent development. The terms and circumstances of the visa provide an extension of the one-year virtual work residence permit.
Anyone looking to obtain a virtual work residency visa will find a significant decision made by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) in the UAE to be highly beneficial.
The applicant must show proof of work in the form of a one-year employment contract from the employer and a minimum monthly income of $3,500 (or its equivalent in another currency). Along with the salary slip from the previous month, bank statements from the preceding three months are also required.

The ICP states that anyone requesting the visa will no longer be required to submit their applications while physically present in the United Arab Emirates.
The virtual work residence visa requires applicants to have a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity, a recent photo, and a health insurance coverage that covers their time in the UAE. Entrance authorization will be sent to the applicant’s registered email address.
