Trump called James Mattis- former as ‘Mad Dog’

Washington 4th June 2020:  President Trump sharply criticized James Mattis after the former Defense secretary broke his silence and condemned the president’s handling of nationwide protests in a fiery statement. Tump called James the world’s most overrated general. Trump expressed his feeling about the resignation of James Mattis that he felt great about asking him for the resignation. President Trump called him ‘Mad Dog’ and said he didn’t like his nickname (Chaos) so he changed his name to Mad Dog.

On the other side, former defense sectary described the trump as a threat to the constitution. He further said that the president trump is trying to turn Americans against one another. James Mattis, who is known for his uncompromising approaches towards American enemies, remained silent about the trump’s performance since his retirement in 2018. But now he has broken his silence and speaks up about trump for separating the American nation and blames him for entreating the U.S. military to abuse the protected privileges of American residents.

James Mattis stated Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us”. He further added, “We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership”. He said trump’s policies towards Americans are similar to Nazi ideology.  The Nazi motto for terminating us was “Divide and Conquer.” Our American answer to his policies is “In Union there is Strength.”

James Mattis has been criticized many times after his resignation, so his statement as a former general against the President sitting in Pentagon might be a threat to the political nature of the American military.
