Terrorists who were well-armed assaulted the KPO headquarters on Friday night, sparking the crisis. Police blocked off traffic on the major route through the city because the sound of gunshots and explosives could be heard all around them. The building was cleared of the terrorists after large security force contingents, including paramilitary personnel, were rushed to the location.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, thanked cops, including police and Rangers, for their professionalism and courage in clearing the KPO building of terrorists in a statement.

The best medical care will be given to the eleven assault victims who were injured. The CM also stated that the Sindh Government will never abandon the families of martyrs.

Terrorists barged into the workplace and immediately began shooting randomly, according to security personnel. A few minutes later, loud explosions were heard, with one particularly intense explosion on the fourth story destroying the building and breaking glass windows.
