Employees from Pakistan in South Korea

Relations between Pakistan and South Korea are as old as that nation. During the 1950 Korean War, Pakistan gave South Korea food and medicine. Pakistan’s economic growth strategy served as the foundation for South Korea’s first five-year plan.

Since that time, all aspects of Pakistan’s and South Korea’s diplomatic ties have improved. The two nations’ principal priorities have been trading and investment.

South Korea has promoted hiring Pakistani employees under its EPS on E9 visas in recent years.

By the end of November 2022, there would have been more than 1,600 Pakistani employees who had entered Korea under the E9 visa initiative.
