Lahore, 29 December 2022 (GNP): The Chief Secretary of the Punjab Government, Abdullah Khan Sumbal, called the provincial census coordination committee to arrange the meeting to discuss the agenda on the digital census equipment.
According to the sources, there would be a duty of 61000 thousand school employees from the provincial education department who take responsibility for the digital census. The Chief Secretary commands the increasing training of field staff who will take responsibility for the digital census.
So, yet there are only 328 master trainers have completed their training. At the same time, the chief secretory further ordered the field-related people, including other master trainers, to complete the training instantly from 21 January and make ready for initiating the digital census work field.

The Chief Secretary has nominated the chief economist Ali Bahadur as the new provincial commissioner of the census, while the commissioner and deputy commissioners also gave responsibility to head district vices the census coordination committees on a division basis.
The Chief Secretary advised to ensure the practice and finished before the local government election LG and the provincial government must give surety to fill the equipment for the digital census employees based on requirements.
