Punjab Government began Digital Census for Election

The Punjab government is making plans to do with a digital system of the census for the next general election in the province, which is expected to be held in April 2023.

Lahore, 29 December 2022 (GNP): The Chief Secretary of the Punjab Government, Abdullah Khan Sumbal, called the provincial census coordination committee to arrange the meeting to discuss the agenda on the digital census equipment.

According to the sources, there would be a duty of 61000 thousand school employees from the provincial education department who take responsibility for the digital census. The Chief Secretary commands the increasing training of field staff who will take responsibility for the digital census.
