Prime Minister’s statement on APS incident anniversary

The Prime Minster declared that the 16th of December is the day on which every one of Pakistan must unite to fight terrorism.

Islamabad, 16 December 2022 (GNP): On the 8th APS school’s incident anniversary, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gives a message of unity to the Pakistani Nation.

While commenting on the anniversary of the APS incident, the Prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, declared that the 16th of December is the day on which every one of Pakistan must unite to fight terrorism.

He said that this day serves as a reminder to the entire world of Pakistan’s tremendous sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism. Pakistan is still engaged in this fight and will keep going as hard and as long as it takes to eradicate this beast completely.

The Prime Minister tweeted, 16th December is the day for the whole of Pakistan to be united against terrorism. This day is a message to the whole world that Pakistan has made great sacrifices to eradicate terrorism. This struggle of ours is going on, which will continue with the same iron will and perseverance until the complete elimination of this monster.”

He continued by saying that every year, on December 16, the entire country is reminded of the suffering and anguish experienced when terrorists described the crimes at APS Peshawar.
Even years later, many still remember their loss. Today is a day to remember the APS martyrs and to feel the sorrow of their loved ones. The martyrs’ sacrifices will always be remembered by the people of Pakistan.
