Islamabad, 20 April 2023 (GNP): Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm Eid greetings to the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf al-Sabah. In a phone call, the two leaders discussed ways to fortify fraternal ties and transform them into mutually beneficial economic relationships, particularly in the context of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.
The leaders expressed their mutual desire to further deepen and diversify their bilateral ties in areas such as trade, investment, energy, and manpower. They also discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and education.
Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the excellent historical ties between the two countries, stating that the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations provides an opportunity to further strengthen and expand cooperation in all areas.

He also expressed confidence that the two countries can work together to promote regional stability and prosperity.
On his part, the prime minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad greeted back to the prime minister of Pakistan and thanked him for the kind gesture, which is a part of the two countries’ strong historical ties.
The two sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations and recent developments in the region and international arena.
The two leaders agreed to continue to work closely to promote the interests of their respective countries and peoples, and to enhance cooperation on issues of mutual concern.
