16th April 2020 (GNP): The President of Azerbaijan Aliyev has chaired a meeting through video conferencing as a result of the socio-economic outcomes of the first quarter of 2020. The president mentioned that the situation with fighting against the coronavirus is under control. He also instructed the government of Azerbaijani to oversee the impact of the pandemic on the economy and ensure that it is low. He ensured that the year 2020 will bring a lot of reforms in Azerbaijan (GNP).
