Tashkent, 23 October 2019 (GNP):
According to the press service of the republican Central Election Commission (CEC) 53 polling booths will be established in different embassies across the globe for Uzbek diaspora. These polling stations will be established in USA, Russia, CIS countries, Europe and middle east. During previous elections there were 44 polling stations. According to Article 10 of the Constitution of the Republic defines the obligations about setting up of these facilities for the citizens living outside the country. According to an estimate around 2.5 million Uzbek diaspora is residing across the globe. Uzbekistan is preparing for Parliamentary elections on December 2.(GNP)
