PM Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway

The project's launch was ascribed to Sindh's public-private partnership model.

Hyderabad, 13 December 2022 (GNP): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif attends the Groundbreaking ceremony of the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway. It is the last link of the  Peshawar-Karachi Motorway (PKM), 306 kilometers.

The prime minister emphasized that the project’s quality should not be compromised, adding that he tends to arrive unexpectedly and check the project’s quality.

The project’s launch was ascribed to Sindh’s public-private partnership model, which the prime minister sought to duplicate at the federal level.

The construction has been initiated by public and private partnerships and completed within thirty months of a short-term period. 

It will reduce traffic flow and increase investment opportunities. The estimated cost of M-6 is Three hundred Million, which covers fifteen interchanges, ten services area, and six flyovers to provide safe and sound service to the citizens. 

It will provide direct and indirect twenty-five thousand jobs. It will bring prosperity and happiness to the province.
