Islamabad, 29 December 2022 (GNP): It has been decided in the meeting held between PCB and Balochistan CM Secretary Imran Gichki on Thursday that the Bugti Stadium, Quetta, will be renovated by them jointly for the upcoming PSL tournament.
Moreover, there was a discussion about the PSL matches arranged in Quetta Stadium; the CM Secretary was satisfied that hard steps would be taken to maintain the peace and security situation for the PSL matches.
This step will be beneficial for the local and regional people to get the opportunity to improve their game if PSL holds matches in the province capital, said Imran Gichki.
He said the Quetta weather is also good, especially in summer, for conducting matches and the Bugti Stadium is better option for summer cricket camp.

The Secretary added that Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizanjo wished who has more interest in upgrading the sports sector in Balochistan.
He said that the Government of Balochistan also contributed deeply to football, and hockey games, which were to be performed on the national level.
In Balochistan, there was played only cricket on the Tehsil level only, where they had the capacity and were more talented to utilize it when the PSL matches would be organized in the Capital of the province, which would give chances to them to get opportunities to improve themselves to go ahead.
