Palestine 3rd June 2020(GNP): Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister says, “We are ready for resuming peace talks with Israel via Moscow as we are confidently sure that Vladimir Putin could broker between Israel and us, and such a meeting would bear fruit; yet if Netanyahu does not derail the talks as past.”
Al Maliki said on Tuesday “Palestine is willing to have talks with Israel via video conferencing and under Russian auspices. Palestine will look into the idea if Russia felt it was feasible.” Whereas Netanyahu twice derailed the Russian plans to hold discussions in Moscow. A senior analyst with the International Crisis Group told news agencies that Moscow had been separately engaged with both the adversaries to halt and defer the controversial annexation plans that devised and proclaimed by Trump whereby West Bank would be annexed into Palestine, which Netanyahu has threatened to implement on July 1.
