Pakistan’s first Artificial Intelligence Summit concludes

The event introduced a platform for renowned AI experts to deliver Tech Talks.

Islamabad, 27 February 2023 (GNP): In the capital of Pakistan a groundbreaking Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was organised. The Pak-China Friendship Center hosted the first-ever conference of this type.

It was sponsored by 10pearls, a renowned provider of end-to-end digital services. Significant stakeholder engagement attested to the event’s success.

The success of the summit was made possible by the more than 1500 registrants, which included professionals, students, hobbyists, and business owners. “Exploring the revolutionary realm of AI” was the stated goal of the inaugural AI conference in 2019.

The programme also sought to recognise innovation by budding AI entrepreneurs and provide a framework of information on AI breakthroughs that could be shared.

It also aimed to have educated interactions with prominent worldwide and AI specialists of Pakistan, as well as to give explicit and correct understanding about AI tools, technologies, and emerging methodologies.

ITCN Asia hosted the AI Summit. It included around 30 outstanding guest speakers who educated the audience with interesting dialogue and captivating tech discourse.

The Summit featured well-organized sessions on new AI issues, as well as displays of creative initiatives by emerging AI businesses.

The event introduced a platform for renowned AI experts to deliver Tech Talks. The presentations featured “AI & National Government” by Tariq Malik (Former Chief Technology Officer, GHQ) and “Cybersecurity Gets Smart” by Peter Hesse (EVP and CSO, 10Pearls)

Additionally, speakers Syed Meesum Raza, vice president of Afiniti, Ammar Karim, Head of BI and Data Science at Telenor Easypaisa, and Muhammad Awais Ejaz, Consulting Director at TenX, talked on “Tech Innovation and AI,” “Impact of AI in the Fintech Space,” and “Optimization of BizOps through AI,” respectively.

Stimulating Panel Discussions

There were three panel discussions at the Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Capital of Pakistan. Aiman Khan (CEO, SLOSH AI Solutions), Muhammad Usman (CEO, RevolveAI and Edge Store), Umer Sufiyan (CEO, DiveDeep AI), and Kaleem Khan (Cofounder and CEO, Adlytic AI) were on the opening panel, titled as “AI Disruption in the Startup Ecosystem”.

Healthcare 5.0 & Explainable AI was the focus of the second panel. Samar Hasan served as the moderator, who is Founder & CEO of Epiphany.

Eminent figures on the panel included Dr. Nimra Qureshi (Founder & CEO, SeeVitals Solutions); Shahrukh Babar (Co-Founder, Xylexa Inc.), and Shan Ul Haq (Founder & CTO, XpertFlow).

“GPT-3: Navigating the Crossroads of Technology and Humanity” was the focus of the third panel’s discussion.

Leading experts such as Shakeel Raja, Muhammad Aamir Yaqub, and Aqsa Kausar were there. Muhammad Aamir Yaqub is the Director of Engineering at 10Pearls Shakeel Raja is Director Data Science, TechGenies and Aqsa kausar is head of AI, Red Buffer.

Aamer Ejaz, Chief Digital Officer of Jazz, presented a casual fireside conversation on “Intersection of AI and Big Data: Possibilities and Challenges” in addition to tech talks and panel discussions.

Hands-on Workshops

The AI summit held three workshops on prominent AI tools, technologies, and techniques in addition to the conference. The audience responded to the seminars in a positive way. The workshops drew over 350 professionals and students.
