Abu Dubai, 12 December 2022 (GNP): The International Cricket Council (ICC) declared Sidra as the winner of the award on Monday for her brilliant performance.
Sidra, who became Pakistan’s second consecutive winner of the award after Nida Dar won back in October, received it for her outstanding and commanding performances against Ireland in the ODI series in November.
Sidra started the month with the best ODI performance, a brilliant 176 not out, as the hosts earned a decisive 128-run victory in the first game. Sidra gained 277 runs during the series and was removed just once.

Sidra won the Player of the Series title despite ultimately losing her wicket in the third ODI, capping up a spectacular series and a strong run of performances in 2022.
