Karachi, 8 January 2023 (GNP): Pakistan has decided to release the Afghan migrants from the Pakistani jail and hand them over to Afghanistan. There are 524 migrants, including women, men, and children. Pakistani police and law enforcement agencies have launched multifarious raids to arrest illegal Afghan people in Pakistan without having travel advisory permission and passport.
They did not have any documents for proof, and people identified as Afghan migrants and Pakistani police were arrested and locked up in jail. Police received criticism because of children in jail, and the image went viral on social media websites.
The 524 Afghan nationals were allowed to go home, and there were 54 women and 97 children. It confirmed the statistics of Afghanistan’s embassy in Islamabad when they were released from the different jails in Pakistan.

Additionally, the embassy released a video clip on Twitter where women and children were waiting for release from jail under the supervision of Pakistan and Afghanistan officials. They went to Afghanistan by bus.
