Pakistan-Bahrain relations logo unveiled

Pakistan and Bahrain jointly launched the logo commemorating 50 years of Pakistan and Bahrain relations.

Manama, 6 October 2021 (GNP/ TDI): Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub, and Chief of Afro-Asian Affairs at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fatima Abdulla, jointly launched the logo commemorating 50 years of Pakistan and Bahrain relations.

Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy friendly and amicable bilateral relations. They share common historical, cultural, and religious ties. Four key areas of cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain are traded, foreign direct investment (FDI), the Pakistani workforce in Bahrain, and security and defense. Their economic relations were first institutionalized in 1983 when the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Economic Committee (JEC) was founded. Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) is an important forum for collaboration between the two countries in a number of fields.
Both countries also collaborate on international fora including OIC and G77.
Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi met Bahrain’s Ambassador to Pakistan Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed on Tuesday, 5 October 2021. Both dignitaries discussed matters related to bilateral relations and regional situations.
