Islamabad, 8 May 2023, (GNP): Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto met with the Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan, Reena Keonkaki.
The two diplomats discussed various topics including the relations between Pakistan and the European Union, issues of mutual relations, regional, and international issues.

In the meeting, he expressed his views on the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the European Union and reiterated his commitment to multilateral cooperation.

He emphasized the need for progressive positive progress between Pakistan and the EU, particularly in the economic sphere. He also expressed his hopes that the GSP Plus agreement will continue to prove positive for both Pakistan and the European Union in economic.
The meeting between the two dignitaries proved as platform for shared commitment to promoting strong relationship between Pakistan and the EU.
Dr. Riina Kiona is the newly appointed ambassador of the EU to Pakistan. She formally presented her credentials to the President Arif Alvi on 1 July 2022, in Islamabad. She has had also received guard of honor by the Pakistan armed forces.
