Doha, 20 December 2022 (GNP): The Indian dancing sensation Nora Fatehi lit up the stage at Lusail Stadium with her breathtaking performance at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022. On December 18, 2022, the final match was between Argentina and France to take home the prestigious Jules Rimet Trophy.
Ahead of the match, Nora joined Emirati singer Balqees, Iraqi artist Rahma Riad, and Moroccan singer Manal Benchlikha to perform their song ‘Light The Sky’ which was released earlier this year back in October and has been streamed worldwide by users.
Nora Fatehi, a model and dancer, hailing from Canada stated that she had been preparing for a long time for when she performed on the FIFA stage, right from her childhood. She thanked her fans and team after receiving all the appreciation for her performance at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Lusail Stadium, Qatar.
Nora wore a shimmery black dress with frills. She paired up her look with long lace stockings and shoes to elevate her all-black attire.
The Dilbar star sang and danced to the official anthem in Hindi, leaving her Indian fans proud. She also waved the Indian flag and screamed “Jai Hind” during her performance.

Fans can’t stop praising and applauding her performance at the closing ceremony. One of the fans wrote: “#NoraFatehi was pleasure to eyes at the #ClosingCeremony performing live.”
Another fan wrote: “Nora fatehi the woman who stole the show in the closing ceremony in Qatar 2022.”
She posted also posted on her Instagram, thanking all the people who were onstage and offstage with her and the ones who showed her love and appreciation:

She wrote words of encouragement and motivation in one of her posts, adding: “Believe in yourself self guys, never let anybody tell you You Cant! Ur dreams are never too big! Many laughed at me at the start but we out here!! And this is just the beginning”
Nora Fatehi earlier performed at the Fifa fan festival on December 1 in Doha. She grooved to several hit Bollywood tracks on the stage such as Saki Saki and Manike, which were loved by all the fans. Nora was recently seen in the song Jedha Nasha from Ayushmann Khurrana’s film ‘An Action Hero’.
She will be next seen in an upcoming comedy film 100%, alongside John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh and Shehnaaz Gill.
