Islamabad, 20 February 2023 (GNP): Finance Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar met with British Acting High Commissioner Andrew Dalgleish on Monday in Islamabad.
Britain offers Pakistan its unwavering help in reducing the socioeconomic difficulties caused by the disastrous floods.
The Pakistani government’s efforts to address economic difficulties are being praised by the High Commissioner.

The British Acting High Commissioner was earlier welcomed by the Finance Minister, and they had a discussion about issues of mutual interest, such as fostering trade and investment between the two nations.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Finance Minister, emphasized that the two nations have long-standing historical links and that such relationships should be strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two parties.
The envoy was briefed by the finance minister. The government’s goal is to achieve economic and fiscal stability, which will lead to economic recovery and growth. The government spoke about economic challenges coupled with devastating floods.
Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, was grateful for the British High Commissioner’s generosity and assistance.
