Islamabad, 18 April 2023 (GNP): The Pakistan cricket team’s consultant director, Mickey Aurther arrived in Islamabad today and will be with the team during the current T20I series against New Zealand.

The team will train in Rawalpindi for their upcoming two games where they will meet Arthur.
Mickey Aurther will stay in Islamabad for three days before leaving on April 20 to join Derbyshire, where he will be serving as the head coach.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has promoted Mickey Aurther to the position of consultant team director (PCB).

Arthur is expected to arrive in Lahore on April 18, according to information provided by PCB in an exclusive interview.
Najam Sethi said, “Although Mickey Arthur will come on April 18, two of the international coaches have already arrived in Lahore. He will also serve as the referee for one or two of the games in the series against the Kiwis”.
Moreover, he said, “His visit is primarily intended to get his squad ready, train them, and brief them. With Babar Azam and other players, he would also discuss his plans”.
Additionally, It is important to note that Mickey Arthur led the men’s national team from 2016 to 2019. Pakistan won its final significant ICC championship, the 2017 Champions Trophy. Pakistan also climbed to the top of the T20I standings during his administration.
