Islamabad, 27 October 2021 (GNP/ TDI): Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov met with Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad, Amer Ali Ahmed.

There are strong historical ties between the people of Baku and Islamabad. The similarities between the two countries are striking. They have a shared Persian-Turkish history.
Both Pakistan and Azerbaijan are largely Muslim countries. They have similar cultural, religious, and geopolitical outlooks.
Both parties undertook discussions on opportunities for Azerbaijani investors in the property sector in Pakistan and how it can help create the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business community linkages.
The relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan are very deep. They are strengthening with time. Both countries announced continued support to each other on all issues of mutual interest at the global and regional forums.
The relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan continues to develop in the political and cultural spheres.
