Male, 5 October 2021 (GNP/TDI): Abdulla Shahid, Foreign Minister of Maldives, greeted Chung Eui-Yong, the Foreign Minister of South Korea, on its National Foundation Day.
The Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid congratulated the government of South Korea cordially. He sent the congratulatory message on the National Foundation Day of South Korea. South Koreans celebrate National Day on 3rd October every year. South Korea enjoys a public holiday on this day for the renowned creation of the first Korean State in 2333 BC.
Abdulla Shahid sent warm greetings and best wishes to the friendly people of South Korea. He prayed for friendly relations between both states. South Korea has been an important diplomatic partner to the Maldives. It has been contributing towards its economy as well. Especially in sectors like fishery and infrastructure development.
