Paris, 3 April 2023 (GNP): On May 20, the Cannes Film Festival in France will host the global premiere of Martin Scorsese’s real crime drama, Killers of the Flower Moon.
Since After Hours in 1986, this is the first time the director has had a picture displayed as an official selection.
The festival’s organizers announced on Friday, “The Festival de Cannes is delighted to welcome Martin Scorsese next May on the Croisette, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, Tantoo Cardinal, along with additional cast and members of the filmmaking team.”

The Festival de Cannes on twitter tweeted, ” It’s official, on May 20, Martin Scorsese will present Killers Of The Flower Moon in world premiere at Cannes 2023! The filmmaker will be surrounded by Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons and Lily Gladstone!”

The script by Scorsese and Eric Roth is based on the novel by David Grann and tells the story of the killings of Osage Tribe members in 1920s Oklahoma.
The movie Killers Of The Flower Moon will debut in theatres on October 6.
Disney’s Indiana Jones And The Dial of Destiny and Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City are among other movies that can be played at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
