K-Electric signs agreement with SAP to enhance productivity

Islamabad, 22 January, 2024 (GNP): K-Electric has decided to upgrade its SAP platform to S/4HANA Rise which is a Cloud Computing SAP software. The purpose of this data migration on cloud is to enhance the overall productivity of the company.

The agreement was signed between Systems Limited, SAP and K-Electric, during SAP’s Discovery Day event, held in Karachi. K-Electric will shift the entire SAP landscape onto the Cloud, making it one of the largest data migrations in the region.

Technology advancements and sustainability are part of K-Electric’s Investment Plan 2030. This strategic initiative, will add further layers of security to heavy and sensitive data, enhancing productivity of operations while enabling them to significantly expedite their clients’ transformation journey.
