Joint statement by six international human rights organization – GNP

7th April 2020 (GNP): Six international human right organizations showed their concern on Indian atrocities and the condition in occupied Kashmir. Calling on India to immediately release all arbitrarily detained prisoners and restore full high speed internet access in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said.

The joint statement rightly underlines that measures to combat COVID-19 must respect the human rights of every individual. Urgent release of political prisons, human right defenders and all those arrested in IOJK.

As India kept its atrocities during COVID-19, giving no internet access to people of Jammu and Kashmir, killing people that is further worsening the situation .
