Risalpur, 17 February 2023 (GNP): A joint military exercise between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia came to an end on Thursday near Risalpur.

The drill Al-Kassah included soldiers from the Pakistan Army and the Royal Saudi Ground Forces.

The two-week exercise was designed to allow participants to exchange experiences regarding route searches, area searches, vehicle searches, individual searches, and area clearance operations.
The joint exercise’s primary focal areas were drills and procedures related to IEDs, vehicles, anti-suicide, victim-operated IEDs, and handling explosives.
This is the fourth joint exercise in the Al-Kassah series, which is a result of the friendly nations’ bilateral military cooperation.
Chief Guest and Engineer-in-Chief of Pakistan Army attended the ending ceremony.
A senior military team from Saudi Arabia led by Major General Saad Misfer, Director General of Engineering Alqahtani was present at the award ceremony as well.
