Los Angeles, 2 March 2023 (GNP): For a forthcoming cinematic project, Jenna Ortega and The Weeknd are collaborating. The Weeknd and Waves writer-director Trey Edward Shults are co-writing the movie, though the specifics are still being kept under wraps.
Fans have been making guesses about the plot of the movie. The movie is presently being filmed in Los Angeles. No specific release date or title has been revealed yet. Fans speculate the movie to be released next year (2024).

Though Jenna Ortega and The Weeknd are working on a new film currently but both have been popular in their field of work. Jenna Ortega, the much talented twenty year old American actress starred in The Addams Family spinoff ‘Wednesday’ back in 2022, written by Tim Burton. The show quickly became a hit globally amassing nearly 3 billion views becoming the third most watched Netflix show of all time.
On the other hand, The Weeknd who is a Canadian singer, songwriter and an actor has been releasing iconic songs one after the other since the beginning of his career in music. Up till now, his song ‘Blinding Lights’ has been the most streamed song with 3.4 billion streams on Spotify. Both actors haven’t issued an official statement regarding the film project yet hence not much can be said about the upcoming film.
