Abu Dhabi, 26 November 2022 (GNP): The Pakistani Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held a public ceremony on Friday. The event had “Istehkaam-e-Pakistan” as its subject.
It was the first gathering held following the COVID limitations to provide the Pakistani community in the UAE a chance to socialise.
Faisal Tirmizi, the Pakistani ambassador to Abu Dhabi, attended the ceremony. Pakistani expats, including physicians, former service members, engineers, educators, and businesspeople, were there.
Representatives from the community spoke at the occasion. They discussed the importance of Pakistan’s economic stability and social cohesiveness.
Speaking at the occasion, Faisal Tirmizi praised the local leaders for showing up in such large numbers to the ceremony to engage in conversation with him. He stressed the value of Pakistan’s and the United Arab Emirates’ bilateral ties (UAE).
It is laudable that the two nations work together in the areas of commerce, economy, and education. Tirmizi said that there was a need to strengthen the fraternal relationships even further.
On behalf of Pakistan, the ambassador finished his remarks by wishing the UAE’s government and people a happy 51st National Day.
