Sydney, 9 November 2022 (GNP/ TDI): After defeating New Zealand in the semi-final at Sydney Cricket Ground, Pakistan advanced to the T20 finals. Pakistan and New Zealand squared off in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup’s opening semifinal match.
After the Netherlands defeated South Africa in the opening match of the tripleheader, Pakistan was given a chance. After 30 years, Pakistan has finally advanced to the finals.
Pakistan won the ICC World Cup for the first time in 1992 after defeating England by 22 runs in the championship game. India and England will meet in the following semi-final on November 10, 2022.
The winner of the second semi-final would play Pakistan in the tournament’s championship game, which is scheduled for November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The eighth edition of this competition, the ICC (International Cricket Council) Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, will take place in Australia from October 16 through November 13, 2022. The same tournament was initially scheduled to occur in 2020, but Covid-19 forced a postponement.

When it counted most, a revitalized Pakistani squad won the match. They defeated New Zealand by seven wickets to quickly go to the championship match.
The game began at 1 PM in Sydney, Pakistan Standard Time (PKT). After winning the toss, New Zealand (NZ) decided to bat first. As a result, New Zealand scored 152 runs in their first innings. In order to win the game, the Pakistani team had to chase down 153 runs.
