Lahore, 26 March 2023 (GNP): Lawyer Hassaan Niazi, the nephew of former prime minister Imran Khan, was turned over to Punjab police in Quetta by the district and sessions court on a one-day transit remand.
PTI leader Hassan Niazi’s one-day transit remand was authorised by judicial magistrate Kaleemullah.
During Hassaan Niazi’s detention, a delegation of Lahore police officers was in attendance in Quetta.
The PTI politician was listed as sought by Lahore Police in FIR No. 388/23, according to a letter from the home department. Moreover, it gave IG Balochistan instructions to provide Imran Khan’s nephew with “foolproof” security.

Hassan Khan Niazi was the subject of an investigation by the Quetta police for allegedly instigating violence and meddling in political issues.
