Islamabad, 28 March 2023 (GNP): Haris Rauf, a Pakistani speedster, has been named as the honorary Deputy Superintendent (DSP) of Police by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, also known as the Islamabad Police.
At a ceremony hosted by ICT in Islamabad for this appointment, the pacer was formally attired in a police uniform, and Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the IG of the Islamabad Police, awarded the honorary rank.

Rauf expressed his joy at being chosen as the ICT Police’s goodwill ambassador.

Although Naseem Shah was also named the Goodwill Ambassador of the Baluchistan Police earlier this year, there appears to be a trend between police from various regions and Pakistan pacers.
In a ceremony held at the IG Baluchistan Police Office in Quetta, the Baluchistan police department promoted Naseem to the rank of DSP.
