4 April 2020 (GNP) : Prime Minister of Pakistan in a statement expressed his views on the lockdown during COVID-19. He declared that it is a hard choice between a lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus or people dying of hunger.
He further added that educational institutions including malls and restaurants and other places where people gather are under lockdown. But, for the lockdown to be a catastrophe the government has kept the agriculture sector open and would soon be opening the construction sector as well. He stated that it’s a tough choice. (GNP)
