FPSC announced the CSS 2022 results

Out of a total of 20,000 applicants for the CSS 2022 examination, 237 candidates successfully progressed to the appointment stage.

Islamabad, 10 June, 2023 (GNP): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced the result of the CSS 2022 exam on Friday. According to FPSC, only 1.85% of candidates were able to pass the exam of more than 20,000 total applicants.

A total of 20,262 candidates appeared for the written examination out of which 393 were successful and 374 progressed to the viva voce stage.

In terms of gender distribution, a total of 223 male candidates and 151 female candidates successfully advanced to the viva voce stage.

Out of the 237 candidates who were recommended for appointment, 146 were male candidates, while 91 were female candidates.

The FPSC announced that the comprehensive marks sheets for each candidate will be available on the FPSC’s website at a later date.

Among the 237 successful candidates Talha Rafique Alam from Punjab took the first place in all over Pakistan, Kashmala Farooq took first position in all over KPK and 13th merit position all over Pakistan, Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon took first place in all over Balochistan and 49th merit position all over Pakistan, Syed Mehdi Shah secured first position in all over GB and 109th merit position all over Pakistan, Bushra Azizi emerged as topper in all over AJK and 158th merit position all over Pakistan, while Saad Rehman secured first position in all over Ex-Fata and 44th merit position all over Pakistan.

The FPSC further advised all candidates to contact the Section Officer (T-V), Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, for any further communication or inquiries.

The FPSC conducted the CSS 2022 exam in May 2022 and subsequently published a merit-based list of successful candidates for the CSS 2022 examination. The list also included the allocated occupational groups or services for each candidate.
