Panaji, 5 May 2023, (GNP): As part of the participation in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member States in Panaji, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, as well as issues of regional security and cooperation.
Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev expressed confidence that the forthcoming in June this year. the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the Kyrgyz Republic will contribute to raising the level of Kyrgyz-Pakistani relations.

In the context of the mutual interest of the parties in creating favorable conditions for the development of cooperation in the field of education, energy, pharmaceuticals and the textile industry, they agreed to resume the activities of the joint Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, the next meeting of which is scheduled to be held within 2023.
