3. Tyler Perry ($175 M)
Tyler Perry, a famous writer, director and actor had a prosperous 2022 due to several revenue streams from movies, his BET TV series, and the sizable production backlot he outright controls in Atlanta. 6. Brad Pitt ($100 M)
The actor earned an estimated $113 million after fees from Pitt’s majority sale of his Plan B producing firm in December. Hollywood was talking about the agreement as well. One lawyer asserts, “It’s obviously become a brand,” noting that Plan B, in addition to directing Martin Scorsese’s The Departed and producing Oscar winners Moonlight and 12 Years a Slave, undoubtedly owns back ends and has a development pipeline that would raise its value. Others were not bought. A second lawyer responds, “It doesn’t truly have assets,” pointing out that the business only generates projects rather than owning them. Through his appearances in Bullet Train, Babylon, and The Lost City, Pitt made an additional $30 million, according to estimates.

9. Taylor Swift ($92 M)
Swift’s profits come from a variety of sources, including physical album sales, streaming on services like Spotify, digital downloads, licencing, and sync. The fact that her Midnights tour in November crashed Ticketmaster with uncontrollable demand implies an even greater 2023 for her, as she’ll be travelling for fifty two nights across the United States with a potential nine-figure payment as a result.
10. Bad Bunny ($88 M)
The Puerto Rican rapper charmed millions of people worldwide as he flew on a palm tree during a tour, starred alongside Brad Pitt in Bullet Train, and challenged machismo with genderfluid fashion. He is best known for fusing reggaeton, a hybrid of Caribbean reggae and mainland rap, with Latin trap, a hip-hop subgenre with roots in the southern U.S. El ltimo Tour del Mundo, which was played in arenas, and The World’s Hottest Tour, which was his debut performance in the largest stadiums conceivable, accounted for the majority of his earnings. The cherry on top were endorsement deals with brands like Corona, Cheetos, and Adidas.
