Beijing, 15 November 2021 (GNP/ TDI): Chinese woman astronaut Wang Yapin has become the first Chinese woman to have a spacewalk.

Wang Yaping made history on Sunday, 7 November 2021 by conducting a spacewalk. She is also the 16th woman in the world to complete a spacewalk. She was accompanied by her fellow countrymen Zhai Zhigang at China’s new Tiangong space station completed a spacewalk comprising a 6.5-hour walk. Wang was part of the Shenzhou-13 Spaceflight Mission. It was the first time they exited the station since their arrival the station on October 16.

Wang Yaping on her remarkable achievement said that she felt great about her accomplishment. She expressed her views in a video released by the Flight Control Center. Note that Wang Yaping was part of the Chinese mission of Shenzhou-13 Spaceflight. The Shenzhou-13 crew will have two more complete spacewalks during its six-month stay in the station.

He said that Wang has made a record of bravery for mankind. She has proved that women spacewalkers are also an integral part of manned space.

Wang is also the second Chinese woman in the space. She is 41 years old Chinese woman astronaut part of China’s taikonauts stationed in the Tiangong space station. Tiangong is also known as a heavenly palace. It is under construction and will be completed by the end of 2022.
