Fashion Icon Vivienne Westwood dead at 81

'Queen of Birtish fashion' Vivienne Westwood has died aged 81. She was the founder of the 'Vivienne Westwood store ' and the pioneer of british punk style fashion in 1970s.

London, 31 December 2022 (GNP): Vivienne Westwood, a famous fashion designer and businesswoman from England, died yesterday on 30 December, aged 81.

Her company has not identified the cause of her death. According to her husband, Andreas Kronthaler, she didn’t have any health complications and worked till the end. Reportedly, she died surrounded by her family in Clapham, southwest London.

Her husband, Andreas, paid tribute to her saying: “I will continue with Vivienne in my heart. We have been working until the end and she has given me plenty of things to get on with.” He further said, “Thank you, darling.”

Vivienne Westwood’s company also wrote on Twitter: “Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better.”

England is saddened by her demise. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also paid tribute to the fashion designer, according to reports.
