Islamabad, 27 February 2023 (GNP): On Monday, a group of 34 members of Pakistan’s Higher Education delegation left for Istanbul, Turkey to attend Eurasian Higher Education Conference (EURIE education summit), under the auspices of the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP) and COMSTECH.
At the Eurasia Summit, they will create the first-ever Pakistani Pavilion. During the tour, the group will visit top Turkish universities and sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with international universities.
The first-ever Pakistan Pavilion will be constructed, with stalls set up by six renowned colleges. Representatives from Pakistani institutions will give information about their academic programmes and discuss potential for collaboration, student exchange, and cooperative academic initiatives.

The delegation is headed by Professor Abdul Rehman, Chairman of APSUP; Muhammad Iqbal Choudhry, Coordinator General COMSTECH and Awais Raoof, President of APSUP Punjab.
The delegation also includes the Chairmen of the Boards of Governors, Rectors and Vice Chancellors of Iqra University, Indus University, University of South Asia, Brains Institute, SBB Dewan University, Institute of Southern Punjab, and Gift University.
Additionally, at EIRIE education Summit the Pakistani Pavilion will have booths from the University of Lahore, Superior University, University of Faisalabad, University of Sialkot, University of Management and Technology, and Institute of Business Management.
Importantly, the Pakistani delegation will express their sympathies with earthquake victims. For the impacted youngsters, special scholarships, as well as cash and in-kind aid, will be announced.
